A letterhead is a type of letter used by a register or non-register form. It has the mobile no also address of the form along with the name of the form. If a particular person uses it, the designation of the person along with the name, mobile no and address is also mentioned in it. It remains per-printed, in which only the letter has to be printed by the organisation.

The paper in the letterhead has a different grade, including a watermark, and also a standard size. The standard size of letterhead in India is 210 mm * 299 mm similar of A4 paper size.

It is only used to send official letters.
